About Brainpro
Brainpro is an eye training app for iPhone. It runs four guided visual drills, smooth pursuit, gaze stabilization, saccades and peripheral vision, in a three minute daily session, and records how eye control changes from one session to the next.
What the app is
Brainpro trains four eye movements that almost nothing in a normal day asks for: following a moving target smoothly, holding a target steady while the head moves, jumping accurately between points, and registering what happens at the edge of the visual field. They run in a fixed order, in a session of about three minutes, with the difficulty rising as each drill gets easier.
Why four drills and not a library
A library of exercises invites choosing whatever appeals on the day, which is pleasant and produces a record that cannot be read. A fixed sequence at a rising difficulty produces a comparison between this week and last week that means something. The trade is variety for progression, deliberately.
What it is not
Brainpro is not vision therapy, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for an eye exam. It does not correct refractive error, and no app does. It trains eye movement and visual attention, which is a narrower claim and a real one.

The app is free to download, so the drills can be judged directly rather than described.
